A Domain Name is the title of your website and, subject to availability you can choose whatever name you want, in the same way that you would choose a name for your book. For instance, our Domain Name is weststreetdesign.co.uk. The name has to be registered on the internet and is solely for your own use (normally for a period of 2 years when you then have the option to renew your "ownership" of it). We can advise you on your choice and handle all of this work for you.

OK so you have your site designed and you have chosen the name for it. Now you need to get it out there and make it available for people to access and view. This quite simply is what is called Web Hosting. Just think of it as your little space on the electronic library shelf of the internet where your website will sit. Again, we can handle all aspects of this for you

You have a fantastic new website, great packaging, amazing content and it's sitting prettily on it's shelf on the internet. But you want people to find it don't you? Of course you will tell all your friends, colleagues and business contacts your site name but what about all the people in the world that you don't know personally? How will they find you? This is where search engines (for example Google or Yahoo) can play their part but with all the millions of websites in the world how will they find you? Well all of our sites are individually designed and created by us personally. Because we don't use templates and ensure that all of our websites meet the highest standards required by search engines your site will appear as high as possible in their results. Additionally, we can provide other SEO services which will increase your site's visibility and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you in further detail.

If you already have a website listed in the internet, you may feel like a new design with a fresh look. If so, we would be happy to assist you.

Website Maintenance is a fee paid monthly to keep your site updated with new content that you provide. Most good web sites have new content updated regularly. Fresh content is what will keep your visitors coming back. This is an optional service that we provide for our customers. If you want to maintain your website yourself you can do so.

You can if you wish. Alternatively we are happy to look after this on your behalf.

Of course you can. Upon completion of your site, we can establish a facility for you to edit certain parts of your site yourself in the future. This is done through a Content Management System (CMS) and we can explain to you how this works.

You don't have to but we recommend it. The good news is that we do this for you!

The time frame is determined by the size of your web site, the complexity of your site design, and our current client design schedule.
